Jauntaroo’s mission is simple – to match travelers with global vacation destinations. Simply click what you love in vacations and we’ll match you with destinations based on your preferences and budget! Some think of us as a vacation search engine – we consider ourselves your Vacation Matchmaker!
We have begun the search for our Chief World Explorer who will travel the globe for one year visiting destinations, sharing experiences and creating content for Jauntaroo while earning a salary of $100,000.00!

To kick off the search for our global ambassador, applicants need to create and upload a 60 second video explaining why they are the best person for the job. Our Chief World Explorer needs to be engaging – so be creative, tell us about your passion for travel, and illustrate comfort creating video content.
You’ll also be given the opportunity to share some of your favorite destinations on Jauntaroo in the application.We require the Chief World Explorer be at least 18 years old and speak/write English proficiently.
Upon completing the application, gain support for your candidacy from family and friends by getting them to Like your video. Tweet, post and pin your candidate profile.
The deadline for application submission is September 15, 2013.
After reviewing video applications, we will narrow down and announce the Top 50 Candidates. We’ll see if everyone agrees with our selections.
Next, the Final 5 Candidates will be flown to a secret location for in-person interviews. Get excited because we promise it will be like no other interview experience!

- Partial to naps and/or massages on pristine beaches
- Eager to capture local cultures, foods and activities
- Enduring of long, grueling flights to exotic destinations
- Able to capture content and experiences that makes us smile
- Always ready for adventure and new experiences
- A naturally engaging, personable, outgoing and descriptive story teller
- Comfortable on camera; using digital camera equipment
- Respectful and humble both on and off on camera
- Generous of spirit in helping others
- Acts responsibly, professionally and ethically
- Exhibits patience when faced with challenges
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong communication and writing abilities
- Capturing digital photography and videos for webisodes
- Aptitude with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
- Extensive international travel for extended periods of time
- Fulfill administrative responsibilities from a home office when not traveling
- Schedule and coordinate with destinations on upcoming visits
- Perform local “VolunTourism” activities
- Represent Jauntaroo as our global ambassador
- Participate in Jauntaroo corporate and media events as required
